Here you will find information on upcoming events and general announcements related to SPS, Sigma Pi Sigma, and the physics department.


The new semester is at hand.  Everyone is invited to be a part of SPS.  The only requirement is an interest in physics and a desire to take part in the continued activities of our chapter.
Updated on 6 February, 2001:

It is time for the First Meeting of the Semester.  The meeting will be held on Thursday, 8 February, at 4:00pm in the Physics Conference Room (Physics Library).  Everyone is invited to attend.  We will be discussing plans for this school semester, including a new president, REU Summer Programs, special events, study groups, and scholastics.  If you have any ideas, bring them with you.  See you on Thursday!

Continuing the tradition from last semester, we will be having the Professor-Student Brown-Bag lunch on Friday, 2 March, in the Physics Conference Room (Physics Library), from 12:00 - 1:00pm.  Bring a lunch and get to know your professors.  Remember, we will be having the Brown-Bag Lunch on the first Friday of every month.
