Grading Policy: The course grade is computed on a total of 300 points. The total is based on four 100 point grades as follows: three progress tests (including the final) of 100 points each, and a homework-quiz grade of 100 points. The lowest of the four grades is dropped automatically. Attendance will be taken occasionally and may affect your final grade. An unexcused absence from a test or quiz earns a grade of zero. When a student has a valid excuse for missing a test, the missing test grade is filled in with the average of that student's other grades and the grade is computed by the above rules.  The Honor Code will be enforced and violations will not be tolerated.
